虫白蜡ChongbailaCera ChinensisChinese Insect Wax

概述 Overview

本品为蜡蚧科昆虫白蜡蚧（白蜡虫）Ericerus pela（Chavannes）Guerin的雄虫群栖于木犀科植物白蜡树Fraxinus chinensis Roxb.、女贞Ligustrum lucidum Ait.或女贞属他种植物枝干上分泌的蜡，经精制而成。

Chinese Insect Wax is the refined wax secreted by the male insect group of the insect family Coccidae, Ericerus pela (Chavannes) Guerin, which lives on the branches of the Chinese ash tree Fraxinus chinensis Roxb., privet Ligustrum lucidum Ait., or other plants of the genus Ligustrum.

性状 Description

本品呈块状，白色或类白色。表面平滑，或稍有皱纹，具光泽。体轻，质硬而稍脆，搓捻则粉碎。断面呈条状或颗粒状。气微，味淡。

Chinese Insect Wax is in the form of blocks, white or whitish. The surface is smooth or slightly wrinkled, with a lustrous appearance. It is light in weight, hard in texture, and slightly brittle. It crumbles when rubbed. The fracture is fibrous or granular. It has a slight odor and a mild taste.

熔点应为81～85°C（通则0612）。

The melting point should be between 81°C and 85°C (General Rule 0612).

皂化值 Saponification value

应为70～92（通则0713）。

Should be 70-92 <0713>.

碘值 Iodine value

应不大于9（通则0713）。

用途 Uses

作为赋形剂，制丸、片的润滑剂。

Used as a binder and lubricant for pill and tablet production.

贮藏 Storage

密闭，置阴凉处。

Store in a sealed container in a cool place.
